Subject: Rival football teams come together to support a great cause.

Greeting families. As you May or may not know. Salisbury will be having its homecoming football game this Sunday afternoon beginning at 11 am at our high school. We will be playing out long time rivals the Southern Lehigh Spartans. But this year it will be different. On the field we will still be rivals playing for the “helmet”. However. With the help of a very good friend and master chef of “The Burger Wagon”, Travis Weighknecht, from Southern Lehigh. He will be grilling the best burgers you have ever had along with French fries. The proceeds are going to be donated the the Townley family.
For those who may not know. Sean Townley is a Salisbury resident and was a youth football and youth wrestling coach. An overall wonderful man and father. That had given countless hours back to the community and to the kids. He lost a battle to cancer. One that he fought with everything he had. What a great way to support his family in this time of need. I cannot thank Travis enough for his generosity that he and the Burger Wagon bring. Let’s all have a great day of football, eat some great food and support a family in need.

Thanks.

Coach Kirk.
